A Diary of Sorts

Hello, reader.

Well, I'm assuming you're a reader. Perhaps you're just passing through thanks to an unfortunate typo in your url bar... But since you're here, why not stay a sec and check out the goods? Thanks.

This is my first blog. Ever. I created it purely to replace my outdated and often forgotten diary in favor of something more convenient to my "Holy crap I'm always late" lifestyle. With, of course, the added bonus of anticipating comments from perfect strangers. I love unbiased opinions.

Some background:
  • I am a junior at Texas A&M University, home of the Fightin' Texas Aggies. I am a 4th generation Aggie and therefore ridiculously proud of my school. Nerdy? Maybe a little. No shame.
  • I'm majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Resource Development with a double minor in Business and Horticulture. I'm planning on using my degree to take over and expand my grandmother's event planning business.
  • I am a short, curvy redhead with a loud mouth and little to no tact. I am a good friend and person all around, I just tend to stick my foot in my mouth from time to time. In my case the word "curvy" is more a euphemism for "overweight". I have gained quite a bit over the past year and a half. I'm self-conscious about it and will probably discuss that fact quite a bit. It's really been on my mind these days.
  • I have two best friends: Veronica and Kim. Veronica and I went to high school together and I eventually met Kim through her. My life almost revolves around these girls as they are the peanut butter to my jelly, if you will.
At the moment I am finishing up Summer Session I at Blinn College where I've been muscling my way through an intro calculus course. In fact, my final is tomorrow and instead of studying I decided to write here. It's much more soothing than doing anything productive, I assure you.

Whew. This blogging thing is exhausting. I'm going to call it a night and update on how my final goes sometime tomorrow.

Thanks and Gig'em,
Cynthia the Aggie
